My name is Russ Ann Cook. I currently teach second grade at Princeton Elementary School. This is my twenty-eighth year of teaching.
I have taught everything from second to sixth grade. I have my master's degree in Elementary Education, and I am National Board
Certified as a Middle Childhood Generalist. I have one beautiful daughter, Anna, who is in seventh grade this year. My son, Brayden,
is in the second grade. My husband, Chris works for Butterball. We have been married for eighteen years. I have two dogs, Ivory and Mocha. I also have two cats Cinnamon amd Butter.
I love to read, and anything that involves the beach.

At a Special Session meeting on Oct. 27, the Johnston County Board of Education approved the following calendar changes: adding two wellness days and an optional teacher work day to the district’s November calendar.
At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.
