Ms. Debby Hickey

This is my 26th year of teaching and I am very thankful that I am a life long learner!!!  I continue to love learning as well as helping others to become successful life long learners.   Also,          I am a mother of two grown children, Rebekah and Eric.  Plus, one four legged fur baby - Mr. Bailey!  Leisure time with my family traveling or just hanging out is how I spend my free time.  Additionally, I am a crafter and LOVE that I can turn 'string' into useful things by crocheting or knitting.  Not to mention the great benefits of relaxation that these crafts provide me.   However, my most favorite stress buster is time at the beach!

I am a graduate from Barton College with a BS degree in Elementary Education, East Carolina Universary with a Master in Elementary Education, and National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist.  I am also AIG certified K-12.
