Mrs. Barber

I am Bonnie Barber. I am looking forward to being a part of your child’s school year.  Together we will develop a love for learning. Throughout this year we will be on an amazing journey which will help build a foundation for becoming a lifelong learner. Together we will be learning how to read; write; work with numbers; explore & ask questions & always try to do our very best.

I have lived in Princeton most of my life. I graduated from ECU in 1986 and I received my Master Degree from Campbell University in 2008. I am married with 1 child. In my early years of teaching, I was a reading specialist.  I love teaching 1st grade because of my passion for reading.

I look forward to working with you & your “shining” star!

It is going to an AMAZING 5 Star year!

JCPS Announcements

  • Updated COVID-19 Quarantine Guidance

There have been significant changes to the Strong Schools NC toolkit that affects the quarantine procedures our staff and students must follow if they are exposed to a positive case of COVID-19. Any student or staff member who is currently quarantined due to an exposure of a positive COVID-19 case may return to school or work tomorrow, unless the close contact is a housemate. We are able to make this adjustment because our district requires masks for all students, staff, and guests.
