Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Wendy Thomas

Welcome to Powhatan Elementary School. My name is Wendy Thomas. This is my 20th year teaching Kindergarten in Johnston County. I graduated from Meredith College in 2000 with a degree in Early Childhood Development. (Go Angels!!)  I am happily married to my high school sweet heart Dustin and have three awesome kids. Lee is a freshman in college, Will is a freshman in High School, and Skylar is in the 5th grade. I love spending time with my family, taking care of my cows, and reading. I am looking forward to a moo-velous year helping your child grow and learn!
