Hello!  My name is Regan Steidl and this is my fifth year teaching 5th grade at Powhatan Elementary!  I have 2 children.  A daughter who is a sophomore at East Carolina University and a son who is a sophomore at Corinth Holders High School.

It's hard to believe that this year will mark my 20th year as an educator!  I've always had a love for children and a love for teaching, which is why I chose education as a career.  I've taught 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and was also a K-5 Title 1 teacher.

I'm extremely excited to start the 2020-21 school year and most excited to learn about my new classroom family.

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
