Mrs. Jill Gettys

My name is Jill Gettys, and I'm pleased to be one of two Speech-Language Pathologists at Powhatan Elementary School.  I've been in this profession since 1982, either part-time or full-time.  I did take some time off to take care of two daughters while they were young, and enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom to raise them.  I have worked in New York State, New Jersey, and North Carolina.  I'm married and have two adult daughters and one granddaughter. We also have a soft-coated wheaten terrier.
