Things to know about Mrs. White...
-This is my 14th year teaching
-I have lived in JoCo my entire life!
-I am a product of Johnston County Public Schools! (Glendale-Kenly, North Johnston Middle, North Johnston High)
-I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and went to college at East Carolina University
-I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Certification (K-12)
-I also have a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology (K-12)
-I taught Kindergarten for 3 years before coming to NJMS
-I taught 21st Century Skills (6th-8th grades) and was the school's technology facilitator for 10 years prior to this school year
-This is my first year teaching 7th Grade ELA and Math but I am excited to learn right along with my students!

Yearbooks will be distributed during the last week of school.

The Johnston County Board of Education approved the 2023-2024 Traditional Staff and Student Calendars at their March Board of Education meeting.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
