Welcome to Clayton High School! I am your English 1 teacher for the 2023 spring semester. This is my 15th year teaching in JCPS, and my 1st year at CHS! Previously, I have taught Language Arts/English, including ELA grades 6-8 at Smithfield Middle School and North Johnston Middle School, and English/Honors English I-IV, AVID 1-4, and Essentials of Math/Math 1 at Cleveland High School. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and from Saint Leo University with a Master of Arts in Teaching.

2023 Student and Family Survey Information
Johnston County Public Schools is committed to building well-rounded students and consistently improving our schools for greater student success. Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
