Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! It's great to be a Pirate!

I teach English 1 and Journalism and I'm the Yearbook advisor. I've taught in various grades from third grade through the Community College level, both English and Spanish. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!). Teaching is my passion and I love my job!

I'm a Wayne County native but have lived in Johnston County for many years. I'm married and have two sons, both college students.
