Mrs. Sonya Kiser

Mrs. Kiser teaches students English, and she advises SENIORS! The 2021-22 school year will complete her twenty-sixth year at NJHS of twenty-eight years of teaching in Johnston County Schools. Mrs. Kiser graduated from South Johnston High School, but enjoys her time here on "the other side of the Neuse"! She is UNCG Spartan; a Wake Forest Demon Deacon; an NC State mom to one NCSU graduate and one who's a Junior in the Pack; a Neuse Charter School wife; and is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. GO PANTHERS and welcome to Kiser's Chaos!

  • JCPS to Utilize New Website for Bus Updates

    Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
