My name is Morris Pate.  I am a Marketing and Drivers Education teacher here at North Johnston High School.  I attended: Wayne Community College, Atlantic Christian College (Barton College), and East Carolina Unuversity.  I live in Pikeville, North Carolina.  I enjoy outdoor activities.

    Grading Scale for Marketing Classes:

    Test are 50% of Class Grade

    Quiz and Classwork are 25% of Class Grade

    Exam Grades are 20% of Class Grade for the Semester

    Late work will lose 10 points for each day late.  Late Work is not excepted after 5 school days.

    To Register for a class student and parent must attend the Drivers Education Student/Parent Meeting.

  • Social Media Use and Non-Credible Threats

    We are sharing information regarding non-credible threats made against several of our high school campuses today via social media. It is important to our district to notify our families of anything that may cause widespread concern.

  • JC BOE votes to require masks for all JCPS students and staff

    At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.

  • 2021-2022 JCPS Preschool applications now open

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.
