Meg J. Kidd

Hi, my name is Meg Kidd. I teach Mathematics and this is the start of my 28th year of teaching; 25 of those have been here at North Johnston High School.  Go Panthers! I graduated from Southern Wayne High School in Wayne County, Dudley NC.  Go Saints! I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from East Carolina in 1995 and a Masters of Education in 2004.  Go Pirates!  I am also a Nationally Board Certified teacher! I have two beautiful daughters: one is a Junior at UNC at Chapel Hill and one is a Freshman at UNC at Chapel Hill.  Go Tarheels!

I am looking forward to a great year diving into mathematics with you.

  • JCPS to implement state-of-the-art security systems

    At the November Regular Session Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to improve safety and security in Johnston County Public Schools by implementing state-of-the-art security systems in each of the district’s schools.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
