Mr. Jonathan Hartley

Jonathan Hartley has taught Social Studies at North Johnston High School since 2012.


He enjoys playing the guitar and singing at church as well as outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. 


He married his lovely wife, Caitlin Hartley, in 2010. They have three young kids Glory, Josiah, and Sophia.

      • Something to Write With… (Pen or Pencil)
      • Something to Write On… (Paper or Notebook)
      • Something to Keep Stuff in… (Binder, Folder, Notebook)
      • Device to complete assignments on Google Classroom (Chromebook or Laptop is preferred) if you do not have access to a device you can borrow one from the school.
      • Optional supplies: I have these we can share but you are welcome to buy and use your own.
        • Color (Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils)
        • Scissor
        • Ruler 
        • Dividers to organize your binder.


JCPS Announcements

  • JC BOE votes to require masks for all JCPS students and staff

    At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.

  • 2021-2022 JCPS Preschool applications now open

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.
