Parents... Progress Reports and Report Cards can be reviewed through PowerSchool. If you do not have access to PowerSchool email heatherbarlond@johnston.k12.nc.us she is the NJHS Data Manager.
Students will have an assignment to complete or a Google Meet to attend each School day. These will be facilitated through Google Classroom.
Zeros in the PowerSchool gradebook represent missing assignments that need to be submitted as soon as possible. Points will be deducted for late assignments.

Mr. Jonathan Hartley
Jonathan Hartley has taught Social Studies at North Johnston High School since 2012.
He enjoys playing the guitar and singing at church as well as outdoor activity such as hunting and fishing.
He married his lovely wife, Caitlin Hartley, in 2010. They have three young kids Glory, Josiah, and Sophia.

American History the Founding Principles of Civics and Economics Syllabus
The essential standards of this course are organized under three strands – Civics and Government, Personal Financial Literacy, and Economics. Taken together, these three strands should help to prepare students to become responsible and effective citizens in an interdependent world.
