Mr. Jesse Woodard

Welcome to my Web Page for the 2018-2019 school year!  I am beginning my 31st year of teaching in the Johnston County Public Schools system, my 23rd year here at North Johnston High School.  I am a teacher in the Science department, teaching Earth & Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology, and Sports Medicine.  I also serve as the school's Emergency First Responder, working with all athletes and athletic teams at North to help in the prevention, care, and rehab of athletic injuries.  I am originally from Kenly and a North Johnston High School graduate, class of 1984 - and an East Carolina University graduate, class of 1988.  I am married to Kathy Woodard, a school nurse with JCPS and we have one daughter who is in her first year of college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  I look forward to communicating with you throughout this school year.  Please feel free to contact me at my school email address, jessewoodard@johnston.k12.nc.us or at the school's phone number 919-284-2031.
