Welcome to Kindergarten and to my page!

I am excited to begin the 2019-2020 school year at Micro Elementary. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones.

I am a Kindergarten teacher at Micro Elementary School. I enjoy working with Kindergarten students. It is such a fun age to work with. I am a graduate of East Carolina Unvitersity. Go Purple and Gold! ARghh! I am married and have a little boy who will soon turn 3. Time flies! I enjoy going to the beach it is my favorite place to be! I love spending time with my family when Im not working. I am looking forward to getting to know your child this school year!

Teaching your child is a tremendous responsibility and I will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe and motivating learning experience in this upcoming year. However I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents.  We are partners in the learning process.  I strive to teach and show mutual respect in my classroom. I want my students to believe in themselves. It is my goal each year to teach children to become confident learners and independent learners.

I believe that parent-teacher relationships are necessary for maximum school success.  Throughout the year I will communicate through my website, class DoJo, notes, telephone call, emails, report cards and parent teacher conferences.  I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions for concerns at any time.  You can call me at the school, send me a written note or contact me via email.

I'm ready to kick off the 2017- 2018 School Year! Welcome to our Micro Elemntary School family!
