Hello, my name is Mary Helen Sills! I have been a teacher at Meadow School for 25 years. I have taught third grade for five years. I have two children, Mckinley and Maddox. I enjoy going to the beach, swimming, shopping and watching my children play ball. Teaching is my passion and I love learning.

Our Fall Festival for Friday, Nov. 5th has been canceled due to weather. We will plan an event for the spring. The drawing for our raffle will still take place on Friday.

ACCESS testing for English Language Learners
North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
