Hello First Graders and Parents!
Homework and Folders
We started off great with our books in bags! Thank you so much for taking care of them and bringing them back. We only have a few that have not been returned. Please remember to read with your child each night. Some of you also received 4 lists of sight words today. They are to stay in your child's folder until all 4 lists are mastered. Start with list 1 and when your child can read each word without effort, move to the next list. Let me know so I can ask them to read them to me at school for a prize!
Please remember to check your child's folder DAILY for work and notes home! All papers sent home are yours to keep unless otherwise noted. Please remove them and keep at home.
We still have quite a few students who have not returned Money and/or their field trip form. They are due this Wednesday. We have to buy the tickets and without money, we will not be able to purchase them. If you need another form, please let me know so I can send it home. Remember, even if you were an approved volunteer last year, you still need to reapply for your volunteer status this year. We would love to have you help us out by chaperoning or volunteering in the classroom!
If you have not signed up for Class Dojo yet, please do. It's the easiest way to get updates, information, and pictures of what we are doing! If you don't have the code I sent out at Open House, let me know and I will get you another one!
Thanks for all your support!
