My name is Jackie Hudson, and I am excited about being your child's teacher this year. I have been teaching 1st grade for 23 years - 20 of those years have been here at Meadow School. I am a graduate of UNCW - Go Seahawks! I have been married for 23 years and have 2 daughters - Makenzi who is a freshman at NC State and Madison who is in 10th grade.

First Grade Supply List
*2 packs of #2 pencils (12 pack)
*erasers (long, flat pink ones work best)
*1 3 subject spiral bound notebook
*4 1 subject spiral bound notebooks
*2 Boxes of 24 or less Crayola crayons
*8 large glue sticks
*1 pair of scissors with stainless steel blades
*2 large boxes of tissues
*2 packs of dry erase markers with eraser on cap (These can be found at Wal Mart)
*1 pair of headphones (headphones work better than earbuds)
*Change of clothes (This is a must!) Please put clothes in Ziploc bag with your child’s name on the bag.
Please put all of your child’s supplies in a large Ziploc bag with your child’s name on the bag.

Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.
The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
