Mrs. Gayle Hobbs
Hello!
I am Mrs. Gayle Hobbs. I have been teaching for 13 years. I currently teach 5th grade Science and Social Studies at Meadow School. Meadow is where I grew up and attended elementary school. I graduated from South Johnston High School. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Olive and master's degree from East Carolina University. GO PIRATES! I am married to Joshua Hobbs and we have one son named Gaines. I enjoy swimming, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to having a great school year!

Lunch on 12/17 & 12/18
Lunch on 12/17 will be chicken nuggets, chicken pastry, or turkey and cheese sandwich. Corn and baked potato, and pinapple tidbits will also be served. Lunch on 12/18 will be tornados, chicken fajita, or cheese bread sticks. Black beans, broccoli and cheese, and apples will also be served.

Kindergarten's Thanksgiving Program
Our Kindergarten classes will have their Thanksgiving Program in the gym at 1:00 on Friday, November 16th. We hope to see many parents in attendance. Our students and their teachers work very hard preparing for this event. This is always a cute performance. :)

Red Ribbon Week
The week of Oct. 21st is Red Ribbon Week, which is a special week celebrated each year during the last full week of October. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to bring awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and to encourage good decisions and healthy lifestyles. Help show your support for awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs: Tuesday, October 23: Wear Red Thursday, October 25: Put a Cap on Drugs (Wear caps/hats)

Menu Changes for Monday, 10/15: breakfast will be Breakfast Pizza Boat or Grape filled Crescents, fruit/juice. Lunch will be 4 cheese pizza, pepp pizza, or fiestada pizza with broc salad or baked sweet potato & fruit.
