Mrs. Gayle Hobbs

Hello!

I am Mrs. Gayle Hobbs. I have been teaching for 17 years. I am the CTE teacher at Meadow. I teach Computer Skills and Career Investigations. Meadow is where I grew up and attended elementary school. I graduated from South Johnston High School. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Olive and a master's degree from East Carolina University. GO PIRATES! I am married to Joshua Hobbs and we have one son named Gaines. I enjoy swimming, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to having a great school year!

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

    North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
