My name is Felicia Garcia. I am the ESL and Spanish Teacher at Meadow School. I have been working here for 8 years. I am from Aguascalientes, Mexico.
I have a bachelor degree in ELT. I am married and I have two children. My husband is an ESL Teacher at Smithfield middle. My oldest son is a Junior at South Johnston this year and my youngest child is in 6th grade this year.
I have lived in different countries. I love learning different languages. I have lived in Brazil, England, Mexico and now I have been living in USA.
My schedule will be send to parents as soon as I get it from the school.
Lunch on 12/17 will be chicken nuggets, chicken pastry, or turkey and cheese sandwich. Corn and baked potato, and pinapple tidbits will also be served. Lunch on 12/18 will be tornados, chicken fajita, or cheese bread sticks. Black beans, broccoli and cheese, and apples will also be served.
Our Kindergarten classes will have their Thanksgiving Program in the gym at 1:00 on Friday, November 16th. We hope to see many parents in attendance. Our students and their teachers work very hard preparing for this event. This is always a cute performance. :)
The week of Oct. 21st is Red Ribbon Week, which is a special week celebrated each year during the last full week of October. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to bring awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and to encourage good decisions and healthy lifestyles.
