I am a wife and mother of 5 wonderful children. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Old Dominion Univiersity in Norfolk, Va. I have 13 years of experience teaching math in middle school. Teaching is not just my job, it is my passion. I have the best job in the world. I get to make a difference in the lives of future generations.

Fall Festival Has Been Canceled
Our Fall Festival for Friday, Nov. 5th has been canceled due to weather. We will plan an event for the spring. The drawing for our raffle will still take place on Friday.

ACCESS testing for English Language Learners
North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

The Johnston County Board of Education is now accepting applications for the Johnston County Community College Board of Trustee position. The deadline to apply for the vacancy is Friday, February 17, 2023.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
