Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Amy Dunn

Welcome back! I will be teaching 8th grade Science and Social Studies. I am excited for the upcoming school year. I am a Johnston County native and attended Four Oaks K-8 and South Johnston High School. One interesting fact is I attended Meadow School for half of my 8th grade year when the school in Four Oaks burned down in 1987. I graduated from Meredith College in 1995.

I currently live in Four Oaks on land that has been in my family for over 7 generations. I have three sons, Zack, Ben and Ethan and one beloved dog, Carter. I have numerous hobbies that include walking on my family's farm, going to the beach, watersports, LA Dodgers baseball and trying new adventures. I am very competitive and have high expectations for my students. While competitive and rigorous, I also like to have fun in the classroom. I can't wait to see what we accomplish this year!
