About Mrs. Spivey:

I am a graduate of North Carolina State University, with a B.S. in Animal Science and a Master's in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural & Extension Education and a post-Master's degree certification in Agricultural Education for middle and high school.

I joined the McGee's Middle staff in August 2014 and teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade elective Agricultural Science courses as part of the Career & Technical Education department of Johnston County Public Schools.   I deem it a privilege to share my passion for agriculture with my students.

    Spring Break will begin Monday, April 3rd and conclude on Monday, April 10th. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 11th.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
