Mrs. Karen Spivey

Welcome back a new year at McGee's Crossroads Middle School!  I hope you're ready to Saddle Up for Success!

I am a graduate of North Carolina State University, with a B.S. in Animal Science and a Master's in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural & Extension Education.  My teaching certificate is in Agricultural Education for middle and high school.

I joined the McGee's Middle staff in August 2014 and teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade elective Agricultural Science courses as part of the Career & Technical Education department of Johnston County Public Schools.   I deem it a privilege to share my passion for agriculture with my students.

For students to be successful, they will have their school-issued agenda with them on their desktop in my classroom for issuring passes to hallway and restrooms and as one means of communicating with parents regarding any behavior concerns, character compliments and recording of assignments.  If a student loses their agenda, additional copies can be purchased from the school office or you may choose to print portions of the agenda using the link below to place in a binder.   Thank you for your support as I strive to provide a positive, effective learning environment for all students in room 802.
