Mrs. Hope Gebhardt

Welcome to our class. I graduated from Old Domion University in Norfolk,VA. I have been teaching for 17 years. I love teaching middle school. My family moved here to Johnston County in 2015. We have enjoyed living here and hope to have many more years. I am the yearbook advisor at Swift Creek Middle School. Hopefully, we will be able to get the yearbook club up and running again this year.

Every year our classroom can use extra supplies such as tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer, pencils and cleaning wipes. Please feel free to send them in at anytime.

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
