Mrs. Todd
Welcome to FIRST grade!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello! Welcome to Fabulous First Grade! My name is Mrs. Todd and I am excited for another year in First Grade!! This year may be very unusual and challenging for us all. We will work together to make this the best first grade year as possible!!
This year is going to be an amazing adventure while we have fun learning and growing together. I am thrilled to be your teacher!! You won’t believe how much FUN we will have along the way.
and possible like no other year ever!
I think it is very important for us to work together as a family. We will be spending a lot of time together this year and will treat each other with respect, kindness and compassion. I know that each of you have a different brain. That means that you think and learn differently. It is my job as a teacher to help you grow as a learner.
I am excited to learn all about you, but first I will tell alittle about myself. I have lived in North Carolina for 21 years. I have taught kindergarten and first grade here at McGee’s. I am married and have two amazing children. Sara is 13 and is in middle school. Sara is a softball player. Seth is 9 and going into fourth grade. Seth has started playing travel soccer this year. My kids keep me very busy at the ball field each evening! We have three crazy dogs. I will be telling you lots of funny stories about my kids and dogs this year.
Here are a few of my favorite things:
Color: Teal & Brown
Place: Outdoors
Hobby: Reading
Food: Italian (lasagna,pizza, pasta)
Drink: Coffee
Author: Jan Brett, Karen Kingsbury
We will be developing a GROWTH MINDSET this year. **Please think of three things you CAN do and one thing you can not do YET.
