Hello to my 4th graders! I am looking forward to teaching you English Language Arts this school year. We are going to have a wonderful year!
About Me:
I grew up here in Johnston County and am a product of Johnston County Public Schools. I received my teaching degree from the University Of North Carolina in Wilmington. I received my National Board Certification in 2012 and just renewed it in 2022. I'm married and have two wonderful daughters. One is a Freshman at NC State University and the other is a Freshman at South Johnston High School. I am so excited to be joining the "Nest" here at Four Oaks Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. I have taught for 21 years and they include 4th, 5th, and 2nd grades. I am very excited about being your 4th grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year!

- Two 1- subject spiral notebooks for Math
- Two Composition notebooks one for ELA and one for Writing (does not have to be the typical black and white marbled-any color or design is fine)
- Loose-leaf notebook paper (throughout the year)

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
