National Board Certified AIG Endorsed Mentor Trained BA Elementary Education UNCW
Hello to my 4th graders! I am looking forward to teaching you English Language Arts this school year. We are going to have a wonderful year!
I grew up here in Johnston County and am a product of Johnston County Public Schools. I received my teaching degree from the University Of North Carolina in Wilmington. I received my National Board Certification in 2012 and just renewed it in 2022. I'm married and have two wonderful daughters. One is a Freshman at NC State University and the other is a Freshman at South Johnston High School. I am so excited to be joining the "Nest" here at Four Oaks Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. I have taught for 21 years and they include 4th, 5th, and 2nd grades. I am very excited about being your 4th grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year!
