Ms. Lauren Horne
Meet Ms. Horne!
I am so happy you found your way to my website, and cannot wait to begin a partnership with your family. I strive to create passion-filled lessons that allow for student choice and collaboration.
I graduated from Barton College in 2012. This will be my tenth year teaching at MCES, but my first year in 5th grade. I absolutely love reading! Some of my favorite days are spent cuddling up with a big cup of coffee and a good book. One of my favorite things about teaching is sharing my love of reading with you guys.
I come from a large family. I am one of seven children. I have twelve nieces and nephews that I love to spoil. You will most likely hear lots of stories about them. I look forward to spending a whole year with you!
If you want to stay connected to our classes all year long, be sure to create a ClassDojo account. All of our announcements are posted on our class story. You will also see lots of pictures and videos of the amazing learning taking place each day. ClassDojo is the best way to contact us.
