This is my 7th year as a school counselor and my 3rd year at McGee's! Before coming here, I served as the 3-5 school counselor at a large Title I school in Randolph County for four years. I'm excited to be a Patriot!

We have lots of activities happening in our school counseling department! We have just finished our Red Ribbon Week lessons for all students, learning about the dangers of illegal drugs and alcohol.  Our K-2 students focused on making safe and healthy choices, especially on the playground.  I will be attending the NC School Counselors Fall Conference in Greensboro this week, where I will have the opportunity to gain valuable information and updates from other school counselors as well as from experts around the country.  We are also starting up our small groups and book clubs, so watch for permission slips and information coming home about that.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns about your child. It is an honor to serve you and your family here at McGee's!
