Mrs. Betty Buchanan
My name is Betty Buchanan and I'm currently teaching 4th grade Literacy and Social Studies. This is my 19th year teaching. I'm a native of Johnston County and graduated from South Johnston High School and UNC Chapel Hill. I live in Benson with my husband Brian, my 2 children, Benjamin and Brianna, and our 2 cats, JJ and Turbo. This year, I am team teaching with Mrs. Brown. I will be teaching Literacy (Reading, LA, Writing, Spelling) and Social Studies. Mrs. Brown will be teaching Math and Science.
