Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at Cleveland High School.  I hope you are ready for an adventurous semester in Social Studies in my classroom.  I have taught World History, United States/American History, Civics and Economics, AP Psychology, Sociology, and Lessons in Vietnam over the many years as a teacher in the North Carolina Public School System.

I am a graduate of North Carolina Public School System and from Washington County, NC.  I earned my B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where my son is currently a student.  I also, completed my M.A. in Special Education and I’ve taught in the Wake and Johnston County Public School Systems.

With my husband and two children I have called Johnston County my home for more than 18 years.  I have a 19 year old son and 14 year old daughter.
