Mr. Larry Simons

Welcome

I would like to welcome you to Honors World History.  I am excited about entering another semester here at Cleveland High School.

I have been part of the Cleveland community for eighteen years. In that time I have worked in voluntary service groups, served in local religious affiliations, and coached with the youth basketball and football associations.

Shortly before the opening of Cleveland High School, desiring to work in the community where I lived, I left Wake County Schools to join Johnston County Public Schools.  Since that time I have come to see Cleveland High School as a unique opportunity for any young person to develop as a person and life long learner. The faculty has worked hard to develop a challenging curriculum that will prepare students for their futures. I am excited about the new year and I am excited about the future of CvHS.

Cleveland High School has become a special place to me. I hope you too come to see Cleveland in the same way.
