Mr. Ken Franklin

Welcome!  I have been a teacher for sixteen years, all with Johnston County Schools.  I hail from Michigan, where my family homesteaded in 1837.  I attended the University of Michigan, and then joined the Navy as a logistics officer and traveled the world.  After six years, I left the Navy, moved back to Michigan, and worked for a large alarm company in Detroit.  Desiring to spend more time with my wife and three sons, I returned to college to become a math and science teacher, and here I am! I enjoy my job, particularly my students, and always have a great school year. We have a good time in my classes, and I strive to create a successful experience in math for all of my students.  You will succeed in my class with a little effort, and perseverance!

Our homework and notes will be found organized on Google Classroom and we use Remind for communication.  Access codes are given in class.
