Mr. Ken Franklin
Welcome to the 2022 School Year
Let the Adventures Begin!
Well, we contine our school year during the Great Pandemic! We will get through this together, after all it's just school. You will need to exercise some discipline staying on top of your school work. No teacher will stand over you to wake you up while you try to work. It's up to you. It will be a good life's lesson.
Here's a little bit about me:
I have taught in Johnston County Schools for the past twenty years . I grew up in Michigan, where my family homesteaded in 1837. I attended the University of Michigan, and then joined the Navy as a logistics officer and traveled the world. Six years later, I left the Navy, came home to Michigan, and worked for a large alarm company in Detroit. Desiring to spend more time with my wife and three sons, I returned to college to become a math and science teacher, and here I am! I love my job, particularly my students, and always have a great school year. We have a good time in my classes, and I strive to create a successful experience in math for all of my students. You will succeed in my class with a little effort, and perseverance!
Our notes, homework, and videos will be found organized in Canvas, which can be accessed through your ClassLink for school.
