Mrs. Joy Beaston

Hello! Welcome to my English class! My name is Joy Beaston and I teach English classes ranging from English I to English IV. I am a proud graduate of NCSU. This is my sixth year at Cleveland High School. Go Rams!

I am married to my wonderful husband, Cliff.  I have married children, but only one grandbaby at this time: my sweet little three-year old grandson, Nolan. You will probably hear me talk about my family from time to time :)

I love traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. I also REALLY love all things English! Yes, even grammar.

I look forward to working with you this semester! I have very high expectations, but we also manage to have a lot of fun.

My assignments and announcements will not be on this site but will instead be on Google Classroom. You will receive a code to join on the first day of class. Parents may also join.
