Hello and welcome to my English class! I teach English classes ranging from English I to English IV and also Creative Writing. I am a proud graduate of NCSU. This will be my 11th year at Cleveland High School. Go Rams! 

I love traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. I also REALLY love all things English! Yes, even grammar. I look forward to working with you and having a successful semester. 

My assignments and announcements will not be on this site but will instead be on Canvas. Parents/guardians may join my Canvas site also.

  • JCPS to implement state-of-the-art security systems

    At the November Regular Session Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to improve safety and security in Johnston County Public Schools by implementing state-of-the-art security systems in each of the district’s schools.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
