Mrs. Gwen Orilio
Welcome Back!!
This year I will be using canvas for math 3 and google classroom for all my Honors Precalculus classes. Please check your email!
My name is Gwen Orilio. I am from upstate New York from a small town near Syracuse, Cazenovia. I am one of 4 children. My parents live the warm months in Lake George, NY and the cold months here in Raleigh, NC. One of my sisters and my brother both live here in NC with their families. My other sister still lives in upstate NY with her family. I went to college in New York to a state school, SUNY Geneseo. I met my husband there as we were on the track team together. We both coach track. I am the coach for the long and triple jumpers here at Cleveland High. My husband coaches the middle school boys at Cleveland middle. In May of 2013, my husband and I welcomed our only child. She keeps us very busy! In January of 2015, at the age of 31, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 non small cell lung cancer. The treatments are going well and I will continue to battle the disease everyday!
