Mr. Daniel Huskey

My name is Daniel Huskey and I am the PLTW Teacher here at Cleveland High School. This is my 6th year teaching here and my 11th year teaching in total. I enjoy teaching PLTW and Technology classes.

I really enjoy graphics, video/audio editing, and anything that deals with a computer. I also enjoy playing most sports such as basketball, golf, football, tennis, swimming, snowboarding, etc. 

I am married to my beautiful wife Lauren, and we have two sons named Luke who is 3, Levi who is 1, and a little Westie-Poo named Smokey.

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

    North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
