Ms. Mary Joe Creech

Hello! My name is Mary Joe Creech and I am a Kindergarten teacher at GKE.  This is my 7th year at Glendale-Kenly. For the last 6 years, I have been an Instructional Coach.  This will be my first year back in the classroom and I am so excited!  I have really missed the students!  To tell you a little bit about myself,  I was a 1988 graduate from Smithfield-Selma High School.  After SSS, I earned an Associates Degree from Peace College and then continued my education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in physical education and health.  I taught physical education at Randleman Middle School and coached girl's basketball.  I also coached girl's softball at Eastern Randolph High School.  Later, I taught P.E., 2nd grade, and kindergarten at Cleveland Elementary before coming to GKE. From Gardner-Webb University, I earned a Master's degree in Administration.   I have loved being a Wildcat and have thoroughly LOVED working with our staff, students, and parents!  I am so excited to join the kindergarten team this year!

 Have an awesome day Wildcat!
