Degrees and Certifications:
About Me: I am a native Hoosier and an Indiana University Graduate. My degrees are a bachelor of science in middle school education in grades 5-9 math and science, with an AIG endorsement grades K-12 and masters in adminstration and curriculum and instruction from ECU. This is my 13th year in education and my first year at North Johnston Middle School. My husband and I have 5 grown children, 2 in Indiana, 2 in Texas and 1 in North Dakota. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and baking.
Hello From Mrs. Schaffer!
First of all, I wanted to let you all know my surgery went well. I am learning how to get around on my kneeler scooter and can make good time getting around my house!
Secondly, I miss all of you. I hope you are doing well. I know we all like vacations, but this break was certainly unplanned.
I have posted 10 days of math activities on the Math 8 and Math I homework page, in Google classroom and they are linked on the NJMS webpage. These activities are all review (topics we have covered this year) and are optional. I hope you will take some time to complete these activities to keep your math skills fresh. These activities will take around 30 minutes a day to complete.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email me (email@example.com). I will be on the computer everyday from 1-3 pm and other times throughout the day.
I will also be hosting a Google hangout session soon. Details will be posted here and in Google Classroom.
