Hey! My name is Lindsay Moore and I am a third grade teacher at Four Oaks Elementary.This will be my 7th year teaching and 5th year in 3rd grade. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Reading. I have always known that I wanted to work with children and I feel that teaching is the perfect place to make a positive impact in childrens' lives. Schedule for the First Week of School 8/17-8/21 (for parents/students)
Monday, August 17th
9-10 am: Office Hours/Troubleshoot Tech Questions
10-11 am: Google Meet video chat with whole class
11 am-1 pm: Lunch/Recess
1 pm-4:00 pm: Office Hours- Meet one on one with students
Tuesday, August 18th - Friday, August 21st
9 am-10:30 am: Google Meet video chat with whole class
10:30 am-11:15 am: Work on assignments
11:15 am-12:15 pm: Lunch/Recess
12:20 pm-1:30 pm: Google Meet video chat- Math
1:30 pm-2:00 pm: Independent math work time for students

Pre-K - 5th Grade to return to Plan A on March 1
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.

JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

Second Semester Choice Form
Every JCPS parent was to fill ou the Second Semester Choice form to choose either the Virtual Program OR face-to-face instruction for each of their students by Monday, Nov. 30. If you were unable to fill out the form by Nov. 30 please contact your child's school for assistance. The form was to be filled out for ALL students in grades PreK-12.
