Ms. Karen Kenney
Hello! Welcome to First Grade! My name is Karen Kenney-Lassiter (aka Ms. Kenney). This is my 3rd year in First Grade after many years teaching Kindergarten. How exciting it was to see the progression as students move from Kdg. to First grade! When not at school, I enjoy reading, hanging out with my family, and my other job of fostering dogs with a local rescue. I am looking forward to another great year in first. This year is going to be different and I'm sure will provide challenges for all of us but I will do my best to make it a great year despite those challenges.
