Mr. Juan Arenas

Hello, everyone!

My name is Juan Arenas. I am an international teacher from Colombia, South America. I have been teaching English for twelve years at the elementary, middle, and higher levels. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages (English-French) at Universidad del Valle. I earned my M.A. in Education (TESOL) at Greensboro College last December. I love and enjoy teaching vocabulary words, reading and writing strategies to my students, and helping them achieve their academic goals, supply their needs, and facilitating knowledge. Teaching is one of my greatest passions. I am very excited to be part of this fantastic school!

I believe this will be a terrific school year full of unique experiences where students will be engaged to learn successfully, to share and to be motivated to do their best every day.

During this summer, take advantage of your free time to read a good book, to visit the local library, to visit a museum with your family, and practice a sport.

Have a wonderful summer!
