    Current Unit of Study:  Beginning of School!

    During the month of September we will be learning about our new school, friends, teachers, routines, rules, and about our classroom. We will be focusing on social and emotional development by helping the children transition to different activities during the day, learn how to handle their emotions, and interact with other children.

Hello!  My name is Joanna Morris, and I am a Preschool Teacher here at Four Oaks Elementary.  The 2019-2020 school year is my ninth year at Four Oaks Elementary School and my third year teaching preschool.  I love being a part of the Four Oaks school and community. It is a joy to be able to help children learn and grow!  This year is going to be full of discovery, fun, excitement, and smiles!  

I received my teaching degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as a NC Teaching Fellow.  I am married and have two daughters of my own.
