Ms. Shortt

Hello fellow Cardinals! My name is Ms. Heather Shortt and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers at Four Oaks Elementary School. I volunteered at FOES for several years before becoming a teacher here. We have such an excellent school and I feel honored to be a part of it. I graduated with high honors from East Carolina University in December 2014. Go Pirates! I am beyond blessed with a wonderful son named Grayson. He will be in the 7th grade this year! I am still in shock about that. Time goes by way too fast. :)

I am so excited about this school year and to see those sweet, smiling faces each day. I truly believe that each child is special and unique. My goal this year is to highlight the strengths of my students and to instill in them a lifelong love for learning. We are going to have a FUN year! :)
