Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor of Arts Elementary Education K-6
My name is Denise Sumner. I graduated from UNC-W and I am currently working on obtaining my Master's Degree from NCSU. I am a Kindergarten teacher. This is my 14th year teaching, all of which have been at Four Oaks Elementary School. I have taught Kindergarten for 10 years and First Grade for 3 years. I have a passion for helping students find a love of learning, while helping parents/guardians understand how they can assist their children at home. It is important to help kids get a great start for their educational career.
