I am excited to back in the Innovation Hub as your Media Specialist for the third year! I am in my third semester at ECU for my Masters in Library Science! My teaching experience includes second, third and fifth grade. My passions include integrating technology, flexible learning styles, growth mindset, and giving the children a love for reading through the Media Center! Plus I have an obsession with picture books! My favorite from my childhood is Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs! My mom would always take me to the public library. Fond memories of climbing a spiral staircase with a load of books are held dearily in my heart! The librarian was always kind to let me exceed the book amount for checkout..it is amazing that I am now a librarian! My other favorite is After the Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again)by Dan Santat. If you haven't read it..you MUST! Favorite chapter books..anything by Alan Gratz.
