I am excited to begin my 26th year in the classroom and my 8th year as a CHHS Pirate. I am a graduate of Peace College and North Carolina State University. I am also a certified AP Statistics teacher.

If you would like to contribute to our classroom needs, I have created an Amazon Wish List for our classroom. Classroom supplies are needed yearly and budgets keep getting smaller! I would love for our students to have all the goodies they need for the year in the hopes that we make it back in to the classroom!!

At a Special Session meeting on Oct. 27, the Johnston County Board of Education approved the following calendar changes: adding two wellness days and an optional teacher work day to the district’s November calendar.
At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.
