Mrs. Kathi Nixon
Hi! I'm Kathi Nixon and I am excited to start my 30th year of teaching in Johnston County. I am from Smithfield (SSS graduate) and graduated with a degree in English from Wake Forest University. I have always been interested in theater arts and have been teaching it since I first started my career. I am also active in our local theater - Neuse Little Theater in Smithfield - so you mat see me in a production or two whenever we can get back on the stage. There is much more about me and about the class in Canvas.
All assignments, announcements. notes, meeting invites and theater arts class information will be available in Canvas starting Monday morning, August 17th. Students will need to go to the CHHS homepage and look under students. There is much more about how to get into Canvas on our school website. Click on the link below to view a helpful powerpoint that I shared in our Virtual Open House on August 13th.
