Mrs. Kathi Nixon
This is Mrs. Nixon's 28th year of teaching - all of which she has completed in Johnston County. Mrs Nixon has been at Corinth Holders High School since the school opened in 2010, and she has taught courses in English III, Honors English III, A P Language, Honors English IV, Honors English I and all levels of theatre arts. Mrs Nixon is a National Board Certified teacher in English / Language Arts and has enjoyed building the drama program here at CHHS from one class of fifteen when the school opened to six full drama classes for the past 3 years. Since the school opened, Mrs. Nixon has directed several notable productions, including Romeo and Juliet, Rumors, 12 Angry Jurors, The Odd Couple, Arsenic and Old Lace, Our Town, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Almost Maine, Winnie the Pooh, and most recently, To Kill A Mockingbird. She is looking forward to another fun-filled year of theatre arts activities and productions.
