•  WELCOME BACK!

Here we are Fall Semester 2019.

I hope you all had a fabulous summer!  I hope you saw math everywhere!!  Math is not just calculations.  Calculations are a part of math.  Math is problem solving, wonder, curiosity, taking what you know and finding what you don't know.  Math is everywhere in life - inside the classroom and out in the 'real' world.  Look for it with you wherever you go!!

I am a Pirate down to my soul.  I did not start a pirate.  In my educational journey I began as a Blue Comet...but not in Clayton. I became a Catamount.  Then life and a long journey brought me to CHHS.  I would not want to be anywhere else.

I love math.  I hope you love math when you leave my classroom.  I know you will like it more than you did when you walked into the door.  ANYONE is a math person.  EVERYONE can do math.
