Honors Biology Students and Families:
Beginning March 30th, we will begin remote learning using the Biology Supplemental Resources Document that I have posted in the classwork stream of Google Classroom. Please use this to review what we have already covered in Biology this semester. Be mindful that when we resume teaching/learning new material, you will be testing Unit 4 Part 1: Genetics. Be sure to spend time reviewing that material. You are not expected to complete every activity, instead choose what is most helpful to you! I suggest working on Biology for 25-45 minutes per day. I have included an area where you can keep track of questions that you may have for me. Feel free to email me anytime with questions or concerns. I will be responding between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm daily.
AP Biology Students and Families:
Beginning March 23rd we will begin reviewing for the AP Biology Exam. As of now, we know that it will be an at-home, 45 minute free-response exam avalible on 2 different dates. The College Board will relase more specifics by April 3rd. Review materials and dates/times for video review sessions will be posted in google classroom. Feel free to email me anytime with questions or concerns. I will be responding between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm daily.

Ms. Janice Peacock
Welcome to Biology! This is my tenth year of teaching and my eighth year as a Pirate at CHHS. I currently teach Biology, Honors Biology, and Advanced Placement Biology. I graduated from NCSU in 2009 with a B.S. in Secondary Science Education with a concentration in Biology. Although Biology is my specialty, I enjoy learning about all branches of science! In addition to teaching I also serve as Prom Coordinator. I look forward to a wonderful semester of exploring Biology together!
All classes use Google Classroom for announcements and assignments.
Parents: Please email me if you would like to subscribe to daily or weekly updates from Google Classroom.
