Welcome to Corinth Holders High School! Go Pirates!! My name is Jan Rowe, and I graduated from nursing school at East Carolina University in 1997. I have many different experiences working in various areas of healthcare, including cardiac nursing, cardiac-pulmonary rehab. nursing, school nursing, community college instructor, wellness coordinator and fitness instructor. The most enjoyable and exciting piece of each opportunity afforded me has been the educational aspect. I have a passion for fitness, family, wellness, healthcare, and education! I love to teach and empower others. I am truly grateful for the chance to teach you this year and look forward to growing with you!

Health Science I, Blocks 2 and 3: We are currently finishing up our review of the lymphatic system. Next week we will discover the respiratory system, followed by the digestive system. This will conclude our exploration of our body's use of nutrients! Our next journey will involve understanding how our body's communication and hormone systems work!
Health Science II, Block 4: Our class is currently learnng about legal and eithical issues that exist in healthcare. Both are extremely important as they relate to patient safety. Our next unit will explore teamwork and the vital role it plays in providing safe and high standards of care for our patients. CPR and First Aid will follow teamwork!
