Hello, my name is Chaning Marsland, I am looking forward to continuing to teach World History & Law & Justice this year! This is my 8th year of teaching at CHHS and I couldn't imagine teaching anywhere else!
I am the advisor for the Student Council Association (co-advisor - Mrs. Jenna Parker). If you have any questions about these clubs, please reach out to me via email.
I am a graduate of Campbell University with a Political Science degree (May 2013) and a Masters in Secondary Social Studies Education (December 2015). Go Camels!

2022 Growth Needs Update
Johnston County Public Schools Chief of Facilities and Construction Brooks Moore presented the 2022 Growth Needs Update to the Johnston County Board of Education at their March meeting.

JCPS to Utilize New Website for Bus Updates
Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.

JC Board of Education approves 2022 JCPS salary schedule
The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
